Board of Commissioners

The Authority is governed by a five member Board of Commissioners appointed by the City Council of the City of Williamsburg for a four-year term. The Board of Commissioners meets on the fourth Thursday of each month unless the meeting is postponed or changed upon the approval of a majority of the Commissioners.

It is the responsibility of the Board of Commissioners to establish and oversee the policies and procedures of the Authority and to work with the Executive Director to establish the long term goals and objectives and to approve the operating budgets of the Authority on an annual basis.

The Executive Director and the Board of Commissioners are governed and operate in compliance with the By-Laws of the Authority.

Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of the month in the Chambers at the Stryker building, 412 N. Boundary Street. Holiday meeting dates can be confirmed by contacting the office at (757) 220-3477 ext 466.
